Advocacy

ICBA Bancard works to protect the interests of community banks in Washington by monitoring federal activities that affect community banks and their customers. ICBA has a broad reach with lawmakers, regulators and policy-setting boards and, through work with these bodies, ensures that the needs of community bankers are heard and met.

Credit CARD Act: Simplified Q&A Format Summary for Customers on the Fed's Final Gift Card Rule

The Credit CARD Act that was signed into law last May included provisions applicable to gift cards, and the Federal Reserve Board issued the final rule concerning gift cards last month.  The U.S. Public Policy Team has prepared a simplified summary in a question and answer format for your information and for you to share with customers.
